Hello our name is Rekindle Ministries. My lovely wife and I first realized what an incredibly large desire we had to reach the lost, while sitting on a beach in Hawaii. With upcoming deadlines and big life decisions waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon. We found ourselves detached from the norm and were given an amazing outlook on how our lives could play out if we were to stay in our hometown and …well, settle. From my first job up until today we have always had a burning to do something that mattered. We feel incredibly blessed to have been given the talent, and the growing heart for the hurt, hindered, and unknowing, world out there. So we found ourselves at a fork in the road. One direction would lead us to be socially adopted into the mundane, while the other took a lot more faith, learning, and sacrifice. We have always felt, not only an urge, but a gag reflex effect. that we had no choice but to do what we were so passionately drawn to, the heart of the lost and the forgotten in and out of the church. We believe that music is just a tunnel and expression of what God wants to tell his children, we pray for open ears to hear His message, and open hearts to receive it. We desire to encourage and remind his people that GOD… IS…. CAPTIVATING. Why not sing about it.

As I sit here and salidify my goals and dreams I’m listening to a man by the name of Zig Ziglar who actually encourages dreams, and the author of The Compound effect Writes;
If a plane is off course by 1% he will inevitably land 150 miles off course by the end of his journey. The Power of our tomorrows is reflective of what we did today!
We can twiddle our thumbs until the cows come home- but FAITH is an action verb- My daily goals, the ones I achieve today, will set me up for achieving my goals and dreams tomorrow.

Busy 5 weeks!
It has been a little while since we’ve been on here – We’ve noticed our schedule has been full every weekend for the past 5 weeks! What a blessing, and with special community outreaches and worship events, we have new pictures, YouTube videos and are almost done with Rekindle Ministries Portfolio for fundraising. Our next project on the horizon will be less outreach focused – but more on the fun side of things- 5Th St. Market covers from Glen Hansard to some originals this Friday at 5:30 pm. Come hang out- and enjoy the music.
